2nd rejection of Oracle's hostile offer of $6.3billion, the ATF triumverate has entered the bidding pool. The exact details of their offer have not been publicly disclosed, but analysts estimate it to be on the order of double digits.
"This would be an excellent purchase for All Too Flat," exaplains analyst Gary Cumberland from Lehman Brothers. "The purchase of the world's largest manufactoror of enterprise CRM applications would make ATF the world's largest manufactoror of enterprise CRM applications."
Exact details of their offer are still highly secretive, but our news correspondant overheard a recent conversation by ATF board members in a dive bar in NYC. "I got 4 bucks, maybe 5." explained Antoni Chan, CTO and acting CFO of All Too Flat.
"I'll go with Ton on this one. I hear he's good with money," said Chief Executive Geek Benjamin Stein. "Once we buy the company, We can put it up for sale on Ebay! The description can be something like 'Listen to Larry Ellison
pule when you buy the company that he couldn't.' How much do you think we can get for it?"
"About $100" was Hacktivist Kenneth Bromberg's only response.
ATF revenues have fallen 450% since the same quarter 2002, to a paltry $1.25.
