You know what's kind of annoying? Not all turns of phrase are portable. For instance, there's that saying 'I'm going to sleep on it.' I don't sleep on things, but I do ponder problems when I'm on the can. But tell one of your collegues that you're 'going to poop on it,' in reference to one of their ideas, misunderstandings are bound to occur.
