So what I can't figure out is why there are so few jokes this month with a punchline along the lines of "and the bird flew". Seriously guys! How funny is that? Or is this one of those unspoken things you're not supposed to joke about but I didn't get the memo. Like Gilbert Gottfried's "my flight had a layover on the Empire State building" joke on september 12th? Is it just too soon? Maybe it's too early and not too soon? I mean, only like 100 people have died so far. But for crissakes people! The bird flew in Turkey? Turkeys can't even fly!!
