I think it's important to note that this page may be updated far more than once a day, or far less. In any case, this is the forum for the good men and women of alltooflat to easily and quickly post whatever they think might be interesting to onlookers.
To a certain extent I hope you enjoy it, but to be perfectly honest it's not the foremost thing on my mind.

I have a bunch of really interesting things to work on, but I can't really work on any of them without feeling guilty because of billing issues. All the time I spend working I have to bill to a project, and each project has to have a ticket created. The work I have to do (which definitely has to get done at some point before the project it's for is finished) doesn't yet have a ticket created, so I'm not supposed to work on it.
Of course, I really want to work on it, so what I do is do the work for project A, and bill it to project B (which I can't work on yet [even though it has a ticket created], because of various reasons [like it depends on project A!]). So when the time comes that I actually have to do the work for project B, hopefully the ticket for project A has been created, so I can bill the time there.
I feel like such a jackass when I read Dilbert and say things like "Yeah, that's what it's like alright."
