I got a Stink-O-Gram in my inbox yesterday. So I check the stink log (the file we use to keep track of these things), and find the IP address of the sender. Did an ARIN search to find out who the owner of that IP was (it was Viacom). Now, I don't know anyone employed by Viacom, so I went to my Bloomberg terminal, did a search on Viacom and looked at their major subsidiaries. One of which was MTV Interactive. And I DO know someone who works at MTVi.

They got a strongly worded email saying "Don't mess with the admins." Told Ben this tale, and he said I was a god among geeks. I couldn't disagree.
