That sucked. Since I got into work a little late today, I skipped breakfast, and as such bypassed my post-breakfast trip to the john. So I was making a mid-day visit, walked into a stall, dropped trou, and pulled out my palm pilot to play some Bejeweled. . . When my stylus drops out of my hand, and falls into the commode.

Disaster. But I look between my legs, and see it there at the bottom. So I think for a minute, and decide that yes, it is worth sticking my hand into the water to get it, but I don't know that I can to it from here. So I stand up, and turn around. . .

And see the infrared sensor start to blink, and I panic. So I plunge my hand into the water, just as the toilet starts to flush. I can feel my fingertips on the stylus, but it's taken away before I can get a grip on it. So I'm standing there, my entire forearm soaked, my sweater wet around the cuffs, and my pants down.

And my phone rings.

What a wonderful story!
I do have some questions though.
1) When you say "a little late", so you mean 7:45am? Because if so, take off you hoser.
2) You didn't mention poop. Did you have poop on your hand?
3) Wasn't that *my* stylus???
4) Who was on the phone?

1) No, I mean like 9:10. I really got to start getting into work earlier, it's becoming a problem. Mostly with my desires to spend 2 hours/day on the can. Although now that I don't have a stylus to play bejeweled, it might not be so attractive.

2) This was in the pre-poop period of the bathroom experience. The entire thing flustered me so badly that, by the time I was done scrubbing my hands (up to my elbows), it had gone back up and I went back to my desk.
